GLYCOcell® GEL is an antimicrobial glycerine-gel dressing for professional care of acute, surgical and chronic wounds.
The extraordinary mode of action is based on the fact that glycerine is released to the wound and excess moisture is securely locked into the compact gel structure. The hygroscopic property assists at the same time in cleansing of the wound. The gel pad conforms excellent to the wound bed. The gel does not liquety in the wound. Consequently it provides optimal conditions for rapid wound healing.

Antimicrobial effect
Effective infection control with proven bacteriostatic and fungistatic properties – even by infected wounds.


Variable treatment
Depending on the wound size the gel pad can be parted in half or quarter by using the pre-cut plastic cover.
This is possible without touching the gel. The gel pad offers smooth and comfortable cushioning.


Painless removal
The dressing change is atraumatic and painless. The compact gel can be removed without damage of new granulation tissue, because it doesn‘t stick to the wound.
