Selfexpanding Metal Stents

Self-expanding Medi-Globe nitinol stents ensure precise and reliable stent placement under endoscopic visual and X-ray control. The special material (Nitinol with memory effect) and the single-wire design can reduce the risk of undesired stent migration. Medi-Globe optionally offers nitinol stents with a silicone coating. To achieve a precise placement, stents and application sets are equipped with several radiopaque markers. The markers are made of tantalum, a highly biocompatible material, which is characterized by a high density for improved visibility during fluoroscopy.
