ESD knife

Description

ESD knives from Medi-Globe are characterized by a wide range of applications for endoscopic submucosal dissection in the esophagus and the gastrointestinal tract. The ESD knives combine two types of cutting knives (O-knife / I-knife) in one instrument and thus enable the marking and dissection of the lesions in one operation without changing instruments. The design of the ESD knife enables fast and precise dissection of the target tissue.

Medi-Globe ESD knives are available in various combinations of O and I knives. This enables the user to differentiate between different types of tissue.

Two types of knives in one instrument:

I-knife

• Available in different lengths from 1 mm to 4 mm
• T-shaped tip enables the target tissue to be precisely marked and prevents the knife from slipping during the cutting process

O-knife

• with a fixed length of 4 mm and an insulated radial electrode
• for safe dissection and prevention of perforations in the surrounding tissue
